Also downstairs is a shower room with continental shower, hand basin and toilet. Next to this is the laundry with a washing machine and a stainless steel sink.

Up the stairs is a studio lounge, which is light and airy with panoramic views. Comfy seats are laid out here for relaxation with a colour TV and video provided.

Sleeping accommodation for up to five people is split between three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single.

The rooms are pleasantly furnished with exposed wooden floors running throughout. Many hand crafted items have been added to the cottage to further enhance its charm and comfort. Clean bedding, towels and linen are also provided at no extra charge.

Also upstairs is the main bathroom which has a hand basin, shaver points, toilet and a large cast iron bath with claw feet. Like the lounge all the rooms have views looking out across the meadows or up to the fells around the head of the dale.

The cottage is kept warm throughout the year with storage heaters in every room and the windows are double glazed. Fuel and electricity are provided inclusive with the rent.

Outside the cottage has a flagged, stone terrace which is a real suntrap with views of Kisdon Hill and beyond. Numerous walks set off from the front door across fields, woodland and moor and by the spectacular river Swale with its numerous waterfalls.

Keld is easily accessible from the M6 or the A1 and then a nice scenic forty-five minute drive through the Yorkshire Dales.
